Andrea Corina Ralls, 42, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, in Austin, Texas, surrounded by her devoted family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Andrea was born on September 17, 1983, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Arthur and Irma Barrera. A proud graduate of Mary Carroll High School, she moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Driven by a desire to serve her community, she returned to Corpus Christi and obtained her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.
It was during her graduate studies that Andrea discovered her passion for healthcare. She built an impressive career at Fresenius Medical Care, eventually serving as Senior Director of Regional Operations and Value Based Care. While participating in Leadership Corpus Christi, Class 39 — a testament to her commitment to her hometown — she met the love of her life, Travis Ralls.
In her commitment to continuous growth and leadership, Andrea participated in the University of Texas at Austin’s Women Who Mean Business Executive Leadership Development program and earned a Certificate in Managerial Leadership from the McCombs School of Business.
Andrea and her husband, Travis, are parents to two sons: Conrad and Gilbert Abel Travis Ralls (born 2024).
