President’s Message  – December 2025

Dear Fellow Chapter Members,

As we approach the close of the year, I want to pause to wish each of you a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year.

Reflecting on my first year as Chapter president, I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together, while also recognizing there is always more we aspire to do. Our Board and committee members are all volunteers — healthcare leaders balancing demanding careers, families, and personal commitments — yet they continue to show up with dedication, creativity, and heart. I am deeply grateful to each of them for their hard work and service throughout 2025.

Last month, we held a strategic planning session and welcomed new Board members who bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. One of our key goals moving forward is to provide greater visibility into our programming by building and sharing our calendar well in advance, so you can easily plan to engage.

As a sneak peek, we have three events planned for January, and in February we will host a Lifetime Fellow Breakfast. We are also launching a new Student Engagement Committee, along with expanded opportunities within our Membership Committee. Our Mentorship Program will continue to grow, and we invite all members to participate as mentors or mentees—we truly believe you will find the experience meaningful and rewarding.

Looking ahead, the Board is energized and excited about 2026. Thank you to everyone who shared feedback through our recent survey; your input matters greatly, and we are committed to aligning our efforts with your needs and interests.

Healthcare is challenging, and the work you do every day makes a difference. Thank you for your leadership, resilience, and commitment to our community.
