Message From Cristian Lieneck, PhD, FACHE
ACHE Regent
Winter 2025
Dear Central/South Texas Chapter, District 4 Members,
As my term as your Central/South Texas Chapter, District 4 Regent comes to a close, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the opportunity to serve over the past three years. It has been a privilege to work alongside such dedicated and passionate professionals, all of whom continuously uphold our shared mission of advancing healthcare leadership excellence.
Your unwavering commitment and active engagement have played a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our professional community. Whether through your participation in meetings, your contributions to key projects, or your leadership in local, regional, and national ACHE initiatives, you have demonstrated the true essence of servant leadership. I encourage each of you to remain involved and continue making an impact.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my Regent Advisory Council (RAC), whose guidance and support have been invaluable over these past three years. Thank you, Yessica Dominguez, Bob Bush, Dean Hommer, MD, FACHE, Kevin Stevenson, DHA, FACHE, Eric Weaver, DHA, FACHE, Alan Jones, PhD, FACHE, and Stefan Werdegar, for your time, insights, and dedication. Your contributions have helped foster a collaborative and innovative environment that benefits us all.
I am also grateful for the continued partnership with our local Higher Education Network (HEN) institutions, including Baylor University, Trinity University, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, University of the Incarnate Word, and Texas State University. These collaborations are essential to strengthening the future of healthcare leadership, and I appreciate the opportunities we have had to support and mentor the next generation of leaders.
Most importantly, I want to express my deep appreciation for the support you have all shown me throughout my tenure. Your encouragement has not only fueled my personal growth but has reinforced my passion for servant leadership in our field. I look forward to seeing many of you at the ACHE 2025 Congress on Healthcare Leadership this month and to celebrating the induction of our new recently elected Regent, Lance Lunsford, FACHE, from our Central Texas chapter. Please join me in wishing him all the best as he steps into this important role.
Thank you again for your trust, support, and dedication. It has been an honor to serve as your Regent.
Be active, be involved, and be present. Lead and follow well. Have fun.
Thanks, Cristian
