Board of Governors Examination Prep Course
October 25th 2019
ACHE’s Board of Governors (BOG) Examination in Healthcare Management is a significant challenge, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
This prep course is designed to review the logistics, how to prepare, how to take the test, and some review of the knowledge areas.
Cost is $100. Qualifying Education Credits: 8

Requirements to sit for the exam:
  • Be a current member of ACHE and have three (3) years of tenure. Tenure may be accumulated as an ACHE Member, Faculty Associate, or International Associate. (Student Associates are not eligible for tenure).
  • Hold a Master’s or other post-baccalaureate degree.
  • Hold an executive-level healthcare management position and have a minimum of five (5) years of executive-level healthcare management experience.
  • Submit two (2) references: One (1) in the form of a structured interview with a current Fellow; One (1) written reference from a senior-level executive (VP or higher) in your organization OR a second Fellow.
  • Demonstrate 36 hours of healthcare-related continuing education (CE) within the last three (3) years of submitting an application. (12 hours must be ACHE Face-to-Face Education and the remaining 24 hours can be ACHE Qualified Education or ACHE Face-to-Face Education).
  • Participation in two (2) healthcare-related activities and two (2) community/civic activities during the past three (3) year period.
